Dance from the Heart is an artistic outlet where our dancers grow in both technique and creativity. We are a process orientated school with our work centering around creating and learning rather than simply the end results. The program is designed to help students develop a love of dance that can be shared with others and thus help the dancers in turn, develop and understanding of the world around them. We firmly believe in a non-competitive atmosphere as we feel dance to be a creative expression rather than a competitive experience. Dance from the Heart strives to give each individual the best in dance education. From creative-ballet and dance, tap, hip-hop, our popular child and caregiver program to adult ballet, Dance from the Heart has a class for any age group. We pride ourselves in bringing a high quality dance program to the Mid-Hudson Valley!
The lead teacher and owner, Kerry Bevens, is a certified early childhood educator in New York State and holds a Masters Degree as well.
